Getting started in Quicky
Create and publish your first Shopify announcement bar in a few minutes.
1. Choose a banner
- Open Quicky from your Shopify admin.
- Select Create banner.
- For a simple store message, choose Announcement Bar.
- For rotating messages, choose Multi Announcement Bar.
- You can also start with a template for free shipping, a countdown, a coupon, or another campaign goal.
2. Customize your message
- Enter a clear message and add a link or button if needed.
- Use a relative Shopify link, such as /collections/all or /pages/contact, when you want the link to follow the visitor's current Shopify Market and language.
- Adjust the colors, typography, position, and mobile layout to match your theme.
- Use Locales beside a text field to add translated versions of your message.
3. Save the banner
- Select Save in the upper-right corner.
- Wait for the save confirmation before leaving the editor.
- If Save remains disabled, make a small change to the title or content and check that all required fields are complete.
4. Enable Quicky in your theme
- Return to the Quicky dashboard and select Enable app.
- Shopify opens the theme editor with the Quicky app embed selected.
- Turn on the Quicky app embed and select Save in the Shopify theme editor.
- Return to Quicky after Shopify confirms that the theme was saved.
5. Publish and verify
- Open your saved banner and select Publish.
- Visit your storefront in a private browser window.
- Check the desktop and mobile versions of the page.
- If you use page, language, location, or schedule targeting, test a visitor who matches those rules.
If the banner does not appear
- Confirm that the banner status is Published.
- Confirm that the Quicky app embed is enabled on the currently published theme.
- Check the banner's schedule and targeting rules.
- Check whether another active banner has a higher display priority.
- Test in a private browser window to avoid cached storefront data.
